About Bamboo Park Dog Daycare & Overnight Stays
At Bamboo Park Dog Daycare & Overnight Stays, dogs enjoy a calm, spacious, and home-style environment where they can play, relax, and feel safe while their owners are away.

Located in Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast, Bamboo Park offers small-group dog daycare and overnight dog stays on a private six-acre property.
Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, enriching and stress-free space where dogs can socialise, exercise, and enjoy their day just like they would at home - only with more friends and more room to explore.

Whether your dog needs company while you’re at work, stimulation during the day, or a comfortable place to stay while you travel, Bamboo Park Dog Daycare & Overnight Stays provides personalised care in a relaxed home environment.
Meet Yasmine – Founder

Hi, I’m Yasmine, the owner and founder of Bamboo Park Dog Daycare & Overnight Stays.

I have over seven years of experience working with dogs and hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, which gives me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, health, and safe group management.

Before starting Bamboo Park, I worked at dog daycares in both Sydney and locally on the Sunshine Coast, gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, personalities, and energy levels.
I started Bamboo Park in 2021 after noticing a common problem for dog owners: many dogs attended daycare during the day, but when their owners travelled interstate or overseas, they often couldn’t stay overnight in the same environment they were already comfortable in.

That’s how Bamboo Park originally began - as a dog boarding and overnight stay service where dogs could remain in a familiar, relaxed environment instead of going to a traditional kennel.

As the business grew, we purchased our six-acre property in Palmwoods and built a private dog park, allowing Bamboo Park to expand into small-group dog daycare as well.
Today, Bamboo Park provides both dog daycare and overnight boarding for dogs across the Sunshine Coast, offering a safe and enriching alternative to large kennel-style facilities.

Meet George -Head of Meet & Greets
Every great daycare needs a friendly face to welcome new guests - and at Bamboo Park, that role belongs to George.
George is a 7-year-old Groodle and our official Head of Meet & Greets.
His responsibilities include:
-
Welcoming new dogs during introductions
-
Demonstrating excellent social manners
-
Making sure new clients feel instantly comfortable
George is extremely dog-neutral and friendly, making him the perfect dog to help new arrivals settle into the group.
He’s also incredibly affectionate and will happily lean against you for pats during meet-and-greets, which most clients quickly discover.
While he takes his job seriously, George’s favourite part of the workday is still collecting as many pats as possible from visiting humans.

A Different Kind of Dog Daycare
Bamboo Park is designed to feel like a home away from home for dogs. We focus on small, carefully managed groups so every dog receives attention, supervision, and a calm social experience.
Dogs at Bamboo Park enjoy:
-
A large private dog park on our six-acre property
-
Plenty of open grassed space to run and explore
-
Shaded areas for relaxing outdoors
-
A ball pit and sand pit for enrichment and play
-
Access to indoor spaces inside the home for rest and comfort
-
Swimming Pool (coming soon) for supervised water play
The goal is to create a balanced day where dogs can socialise, exercise, and rest naturally, rather than becoming overstimulated in large groups.
For overnight stays, dogs sleep inside the home in comfortable, air-conditioned spaces, helping them feel safe and settled while their owners are away.

Who Bamboo Park Is Perfect For
Our services are ideal for dogs and owners who need more than just basic pet care.
Many of the dogs who come to Bamboo Park are:

-
Families who need safe overnight care when travelling interstate or overseas
And owners who just want to give their a dog a treat!
By providing a structured environment with social play, space to move, and calm rest periods, we help dogs return home happy, tired, and relaxed.
Come and See Bamboo Park for Yourself

Choosing the right dog daycare or boarding environment is important, which is why all new dogs start with a meet-and-greet and temperament assessment.

This allows us to ensure every dog is a good fit for the group and helps your dog feel comfortable in their new environment.

If you're looking for a small-group dog daycare or overnight dog boarding service on the Sunshine Coast, we’d love to hear from you.
Call or text to organise a meet-and-greet and see Bamboo Park for yourself.
